New beginnings bringing success at MagiKats!

As the summer term ends, new beginnings in the MagiKats network are bringing success for both established Principals and new ones alike.

Making promotion easy pays off

Earlier this year, we partnered with Brand Amplifier, whose Facebook Advertising Platform helps those with minimal understanding of Facebook run adverts that convert to enrolments. Starting a campaign is as easy as 1-2-3: choose your campaign, set your budget and press start! All MagiKats Principals are now able to access the platform and we at HQ provide a range of up-to-date campaigns that they can choose to run, any time they want to add more enrolments to their centres.

As most of the people coming to us as franchisees have little or no marketing experience, this new approach really pays off as it takes away much of the worry – and our comprehensive marketing programme takes care of the rest!

Kirsty from MagiKats Thornton

Principal of MagiKats Thornton, Kirsty Maher, is a convert.

“Although I was already fairly comfortable using Facebook, having the Brand Amplifier platform to use has made a time consuming and stressful job a two-minute task – and it works! More people have been visiting my web page and using the (also new) WhatsApp button to make an enquiry – more than replacing the enrolments I lost after GCSEs. I love it!”

There’s never a bad time to start

Katie and Ronnie from MagiKats Lincoln

We are also delighted to welcome an ex-mentor as a new MagiKats franchisee. Katie used to mentor at our centre in Hove, Sussex but moved home to Lincoln and ever since then, has been wanting to get back to MagiKats.

“I loved my time working at MagiKats Hove, and couldn’t stop thinking about how great it would be to run my own centre. The time is now right, so my partner Ronnie and I have taken the plunge and launched in Lincoln – just in time for the Summer!” said Katie.

Even though it’s almost the end of term, Katie and Ronnie opened their doors in the first week of July and already have enrolments coming in. It just goes to show that kids need help all year round, not just from September to Easter.

More in the pipeline

As we look towards the Autumn (the weather would have you believe we are there already) it’s looking like more starts are coming. Fay in Newquay is responding to demand and moving her centre to a new, permanent site from which she will be able to offer MagiKats to more enrolments than before. At least two other Principals are looking to expand into new areas, and two new Principals are joining the network in August, in Glasgow and Portsmouth (almost literally opposite ends of the UK!).

Want to get involved?

Any new Principal joining our network receives thorough training, in everything from marketing to training staff – not to mention how to run our successful tuition workshops. This is not a quick process, but we are now planning our next wave of centres to open at Autumn half term. If you would like to be considered for one of those new locations, please enquire today.
